I just got Nellie, and I am so in love with her! I almost got her when she was new, on my first trip to AGPC. I just didn't "feel it" when I saw her; I fell in love with Molly instead. DH got Nellie for me for my birthday, and maybe that's why I didn't get her way back when. She was meant to be from him, whom I didn't even know at the time of Nellie's release.

Okay, well, if you only get one doll, I'd say go for Nellie. Like Laura said, her short hair isn't a bad thing. It's really cute, and a very nice color. If you end up getting two, it sounds like AGT4 would be good for you. My personal favorite of the AGT's you picked would probably be 23, especially after all of judiaci's adorable pictures of Maizie (forgive me if I spelled her name wrong [img]redface.gif[/img] ). Of course, 22, 24, and 4 are lovely, as well, and it really sounds like you should get another 4 [img]smile.gif[/img] . Good luck choosing!

I don't have any dolls with freckles or short hair, and I don't have a brown-haired blue-eyed doll--so DH is leaning toward #23 (but he doesn't really care at all [img]smile.gif[/img] ).
I kind of lean toward #24 (I LOVE blonde-haired dolls!), and also all the rest--I'll probably get them all eventually, but which ones first?

I mean, which ones before DH says that if another doll comes, he goes! [img]graemlins/devil.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I would vote for Nellie and #24.

Nellie is super adorable. Mine is a modern girl, and I think she's really cute that way.

And #24 is awesome. Her hair is great to style, and her freckles really add live to her.

We have #4, #23 and #24 in our house. I really like them all. There is really is something about #24 that is really special however. To me she is much cuter in person than on the AG website or in the catelogs! I think that any that you choose out of your list would be great though. I'd wait until you arrive and check them all out. I have a feeling one or two will really jump out at you as the ones you need to take home! - Meg B.

After, that, I'm a sucker for diversity (and I kind of want her myself) so I pick #4. After that would be 24, then 22 ... I REALLY hate 23, because she looks like the sort of girl who would make fun of you because SHE was a cheerleader and was dating a quarterback, while you were captian of the academic team.

Maybe she isn't, but that's just what she conjures for me.
